BA spends £100m on new First Class

Well, here's some good news - especially for Rachel Weisz: British Airways far from paying its crew a decent wage or offering its economy passengers a decent seat and service, is spending £100 m on upgrading its already mightily upgraded First Class. Our Rachel is quoted on the BA press site as being over the stratosphere about the new uber luxury for the very few. No doubt our Rachel was also delighted to get a fat cheque from the PR company.
It makes me rather air sick to see all this loot squandered on a service that very few of us mere non oligarchs can afford. Wouldn't it have been nice for BA to have spent the money on widening its cattle class seats, improving the often surly service and giving us a decent meal? Or will I change my tune when I become an oligarch and like Rachel, coo over the very good news.
